To write your letter you need to:
- Choose a date. You may want to write about events happening at that time
- Decide whom you are writing to (parents, siblings, friend, wife or even children)
- Remember you are writing about war. You may want to write about what is happening to you, or about how you feel. Just remember that you are limited to censorship.
- You also do not want to scare your family and friends at home.
- Your senses. Describe what you are seeing, tasting, smelling and feeling.
- Be historically accurate. You need to show your knowledge of Gallipoli, or the home front.
